Data Transfigure From one OLAP cube to other

An OLAP cube is a multidimensional database that is optimized for data warehouse and online analytical processing (OLAP) applications

Creating OLAP Cubes:

SSAS is an Online Analytical Processing, OLAP, data mining and reporting tool in Microsoft SQL Server. By using this SSAS OLAP Cubes can be created. For creating cubes you have to create Data Source, Data Source View and Dimensions. After creating, you have to deploy the cube and process the cube.

Generating Reports Using SSRS:

SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) is a server-based report generating software system from Microsoft. In reporting services you have to mention the data source as analysis cube for which you want to take reports.

Rendering Data from Report to Excel using SSRS:

SQL Server Reporting Services reports can be exported /  rendered to soft breaks for example, Word or Excel, hard-page breaks for example, PDF or TIFF, or data only for example, CSV or Atom compliant XML. As for the requirement you can render the data to any of these formats.

Transfigure data to OLAP cube using SSIS:

SSIS is a platform for data integration and workflow applications. It features a data warehousing tool used for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL). By using this ETL tool you can transfigure the data to OLAP cube. By following the above procedure, you have transformed the data from one OLAP cube to an Excel or PDF format. Now in SSIS drag one data flow task and in that take the exported file as source. Now take the OLAP cube as destination to which you want to transfigure data. Make connections to source and destination and execute the package.

If the package is successful then the transfiguration of data from one OLAP cube to another OLAP cube will be successful.

The Summary  is, in MSBI there is no direct way to transform data from one OLAP cube to other. To overcome this problem, one can follow the above method and can transfigure their data from one OLAP cube to other.
